Support Folsom Lake College Student Pantry

Dharma Humanity Foundation is happy to partner with Folsom Lake College to support its Student Pantry, which provides essential food assistance to students experiencing financial hardship.

Fill the Pantry, Fuel a Future

For a college student facing financial challenges, access to basic food essentials can make a meaningful difference. To support these students, we are organizing a monthly food drive to help keep the Student Pantry stocked with non-perishable food items at the Folsom and Rancho Cordova campuses.

                                                                                   How You Can Help
Please consider donating non-perishable food items such as rice, pasta, canned foods, cereal, oatmeal, snacks, peanut butter, and other pantry essentials.  Your contribution, whether it is a few grocery items, a monetary donation (see donate button below), or your time as a volunteer, can help a student focus more on their education and less on where their next meal will come from.

This will be an ongoing monthly service initiative, and we welcome families, youth, and community members to participate whenever possible.

Drop-off locations are available in Folsom and Sacramento.  Details will be coordinated with participating donors and volunteers.

Nourish & Empower Youth – Community Snack Drive

Dharma Hindu Foundation is proud to partner with the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership (FCCP) to support local families, youth, individuals in need, and newly arrived immigrant communities throughout the region.

As part of this partnership, Dharma Hindu Foundation is currently organizing a snack collection drive to support youth participating in FCCP’s youth camp programs. Contributions of individually packaged snacks and refreshments will help provide a welcoming and supportive environment for children and youth while they participate in educational, recreational, and developmental activities.

The Folsom Cordova Community Partnership is a 501(c)(3) community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and creating opportunities for individuals to become more self-sufficient. Its mission focuses on helping struggling parents and families meet essential needs, supporting youth development through positive peer and adult relationships, and assisting individuals in building employment and career skills.

FCCP serves a diverse population, including families facing financial hardship, underserved youth, and immigrant and newcomer communities working to establish stable and successful lives in the Greater Sacramento area.

Through this collaboration, Dharma Hindu Foundation hopes to contribute not only essential resources but also a sense of community, compassion, and belonging. By supporting FCCP’s youth and family programs, we can help create opportunities for young people to thrive and help families move toward greater stability and independence.

We invite our community members, families, youth volunteers, and supporters to participate in this meaningful effort by donating snacks and helping us support FCCP’s youth programs.

Together, we can strengthen families, empower youth, welcome new communities, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need support.

Blood Donation Drive — Giving the Gift of Life

Dharma Humanity Foundation, in partnership with SEWA International Foundation, successfully organized a Blood Donation Drive for Vitalant on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Siddi Vinayaka Temple premises.

Blood donation is one of the most meaningful ways to serve our community. A single donation can help patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, emergency care, trauma treatment, and those living with serious medical conditions. Through this initiative, our organizations came together with a shared commitment to Seva, compassion, and saving lives.

We are deeply grateful to all the blood donors who generously stepped forward to donate and make a difference. Your willingness to give a part of yourself to help someone you may never meet is a wonderful example of selfless service.  Our sincere appreciation also goes to SEWA International Foundation, Vitalant, the Siddi Vinayaka Temple, volunteers, coordinators, and community members whose support helped make the blood donation drive possible.

Dharma Humanity Foundation remains committed to organizing meaningful service initiatives that address critical community needs and bring people together through compassion and service.

Every drop matters. Every donor makes a difference. Every donation can help save a life.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this life-saving community service initiative. Together in Seva. Together for Humanity.
